The TOP unit heater delivers particularly high output and throw distances. With its wide range of versions and numerous accessories, we can find the right configuration for every application. It can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

Central ventilation and decentralized temperature control

The TOP unit heater is particularly energy-efficient as a component in a hybrid system. While TOP provides decentralized temperature control, a compact air handling unit centrally provides ventilation with outdoor air and heat recovery. This reduces operating costs because all components operate only when demand is detected.

Sizes

For wall or ceiling mounting, five sizes with different output ranges are available. 

Installation options

The TOP unit heater can be used in halls with ceiling heights of up to 82 ft when ceiling-mounted. Wall mounting is also possible.

Heating in low-temperature and heat pump mode

You can operate the TOP unit heater at low temperature, which saves energy costs and reduces CO₂ emissions. The unit heater can be used with all water-based heating systems, such as local or district heating. 

Technical features

Energy-efficient EC fan

  • Infinitely variable EC motor for the fan

  • The fan delivers exactly the output the hall requires, without a single watt or decibel more than necessary.

Cooling with the TOP unit heater

  • With a reversible heat pump, the TOP can also be used for cooling.
  • Ideal for new builds and existing buildings (provided existing piping systems are used)
  • No additional infrastructure required
  • Pleasant dry cooling without condensation
  • Heating and cooling with one unit – suitable for year-round use

Motor protection

  • Motor protection guard included as standard, screwed to the sickle-blade low-noise fan
  • “Intelligent” motor electronics detect any motor fault that may occur and automatically switch off the fan.

Service switch

  • Optional
  • Enables individual units in a control group to be shut down by disconnecting the power supply
  • Thermal contacts are bridged in advance and opened on the motor side with a delay, allowing the other units in the group to continue operating without interruption.

High-quality sheet steel housing

Equipped with a robust, corrosion-resistant housing made of galvanized sheet steel, the TOP unit heater is the solution when you want to heat large spaces such as halls, warehouses, workplaces in industrial and commercial settings or, for example, sales areas economically.

Air distribution

The TOP unit heater comes equipped with a single-row air-direction louver as standard. A double-row version or additional air distribution accessories are optionally available to optimize air distribution.

Unit heaters effectively prevent heat buildup in industrial halls. The KaMAX air outlet available as an accessory (Kampmann-Multi-Air-miX) ensures that in halls up to 82 ft high, thermal buoyancy and the formation of unwanted heat pockets under the ceiling are prevented. 

This ensures even air mixing, reduces heat buildup, and minimizes energy losses.

The selected air outlet accessory is mounted directly at the factory and delivered together with the unit heater.
