The placement and arrangement of TGA systems depends significantly on the dimensions and equipment of the building. We provide you with project-specific execution plans and circuit variants for your project to make planning easier and optimize it.

Efficient subsystems

In TGA planning, it can make sense to divide complex systems into different subsystems. Different temperature zones or decentralized individual units, for example, can offer major advantages during the installation phase and later use.

Of course, with such a division into subsystems, you must not lose the overview! Especially in larger commercial and industrial buildings, it is extremely important to gain an overview and arrange and position the units as efficiently as possible. At the same time, the necessary guidelines must be taken into account. We support you with this!

Calculation tools

Kampmann GmbH has made it its mission to support you in project planning. We offer the right calculation program for numerous products. For example, for the Katherm HK trench technology, simply select the desired product version and, in the next step, calculate the product's performance data with just a few clicks. Add the product to a watch list as desired or download the appropriate specification text.

For the design of air outlets, we provide calculation tables for download. By entering parameters such as room geometry data, air volume flows, or the desired number of units, you can easily create your individual data sheet.

Building Information Modeling (BIM data)

BIM data is available for download for numerous Kampmann products, especially trench technology. Kampmann BIM data contains unit dimensions, technical dimensions of the water and electrical connections, and performance data. For additional unit information, such as maintenance intervals or filter replacement cycles, we will be happy to provide you with direct information, as these parameters are not included in the BIM data.

BIM – what was that again?

The term Building Information Modeling (BIM) describes a planning method in the construction industry that pursues the goal of centrally managing all project-relevant information (source: BIM Guide for Germany). In countries such as the USA, Great Britain, and Scandinavia, BIM is already a standard method of project delivery, which is why it is unavoidable for internationally active companies to engage with BIM and provide corresponding data.

Advantages of BIM

The main advantage of BIM lies in the comprehensive, openly accessible, and processable building and product information. Thanks to this wide range of information, greater planning reliability as well as schedule and cost certainty can be achieved for all project participants. Different data sources can be linked better, information can be transferred in a more targeted manner, and calculations can be carried out more accurately.

Product models for AutoCAD, Revit, and MagiCAD

The product models are available for users of AutoCAD, Revit, and MagiCAD. To provide the BIM data, Kampmann GmbH uses MagicCloud, a data platform from the Finnish company Progman Oy. The company is known for its BIM software MagiCAD, a leading TGA planning software and one of the most widely used BIM solutions in the field of building services engineering.

In addition to the BIM data, we naturally continue to provide our 2D drawings in DXF/DWG format.
