Overview

Katherm QL effectively supplies the room with displacement air through the underfloor trench, guaranteeing a pleasant indoor climate.

The Katherm QL now delivers even greater comfort and a pleasant indoor climate, always on the principle of displacement ventilation. The displacement air enters the room at a low air velocity and is distributed within the room as a low-pulse, draught-free air flow.

Alongside the proportion of displacement air, heated air rises up the glass façade, efficiently shielding it from a drop in temperature.

Two channel widths and heights and five channel lengths each are sufficient to ensure optimum comfort with the Katherm QL in projects.

Project solutions are possible for all geometries incorporating mitred corners, curved sections, column cut-outs or angles, including motorized dampers for pressurized floor plenums.

We have the right grille for every installation situation – even with curves, angled and slopes. The metallic Optiline grilles with 70% free cross-section are available in aluminium, brass and stainless steel.
Katherm QL
In heating mode, a barrel of air is formed on the façade above the convector, which effectively prevents a drop in temperature on the surface of the window and supplies the room with heat. It does so at the same time meeting the most exacting demands for a comfortable air flow.
The new displacement air design with air rollers, perforation and deflection plates also promotes comfortable low-pulse air conditioning.

The treated displacement air is fed with low turbulence into the room through the large air outlets in the floor and is distributed in the room at very low air velocities of <0.3 m/s.
